Wen-Wen started "publishing" picture books as a child on leftover scratch paper glued together with sticky rice.  Recently, she transitioned into a more sophisticated form of book publishing. :)  Maya's Voice is Wen-Wen's first picture book, inspired by the experiences of her own children. 

Her life as a mommy, wife, and teacher gives her plenty of good ideas. When a story inspires her, she works away late into the night to make it come to life.  Her passion is writing about children's experiences and she is committed to writing more stories on this very important topic. 

 

Wen-Wen earned a Masters Degree in Education at the University of California, Los Angeles. By night she is an aspiring picture book writer, and by day she is a teacher in Los Angeles. She happily resides with her family in a picturesque city in Southern California, the backdrop of her new book.
